NHL Playoff All-Star Teams: Best Players from Each Country (part 3)
Russia
Forward 1: Alexander Radulov, from Dallas. Radulov has come through in the clutch with 2 overtime tallies among his four-playoff winners.
Forward 2: Nikita Kucherov, from Tampa Bay: No Stamkos, no problem.
Defense 1: Mikhail Sergachev, from Tampa Bay. The 22-year-old defenseman is mobile with a big shot, and has learnt plenty from Victor Hedman and Ryan McDonagh.
Defense 2: Ivan Provorov, from Philadelphia. He was used to being added to all-star teams.
Goalie: Andrei Vasilevskiy, from Tampa Bay. The best goalie from start to finish of the playoffs.
Sweden
Forward 1: Andre Burakovsky, from Colorado. Burakovsky ranks first with 5-on-5 points per 60 minutes and second in 5-on-5 goals per 60 minutes.
Forward 2: Elias Pettersson, from Vancouver. Since Pettersson arrived, the Canucks have gone from forgettable to formidable.
Forward 3: Gabriel Landeskog, from Colorado. He offers exactly what fans want in a wingman who does plenty more than provide points.
Defense: Victor Hedman, from Tampa Bay. Joined Brian Leetch, Dustin Byfuglien, and Paul Coffey, as the only defensemen in the history of the NHL to score double-digit goals in a single post-season.
Goalie: Robin Lehner, from Vegas. He earned 1.99 GAA,.917 save percentage, 9-7 record, and playoff-best four shutouts.
Finland
Forward 1: Roope Hintz, from Dallas. The Stars need secondary offense and Hintz supplies it. After five goals in 13 playoff games, he has produced 13 points in 25 games this year.
Forward 2: Mikko Rantanen, from Colorado. MacKinnon has Rantanen. That’s a little over the top.
Forward 3: Sebastian Aho, from Carolina. Aho has been breaking out for four years and he remains underrated.
Defense 1: Esa Lindell, from Dallas. Lindell is playing 24-plus minutes each game.
Defense 2: Miro Heiskanen, from Dallas. Not many players have shone brighter than Heiskamen in the 2020 playoffs.
Goalie: Joonas Korpisalo, from Columbus. He set the all-time playoff record with 85 saves in loss against Tampa Bay in Round 1.
