NHL to present final five awards on Sportsnet before Game 2 of Cup Final

 

The National Hockey League (NHL) announced yesterday that it will reveal the winners of its five remaining regular-season individual winners during the 30-minute show 2020 NHL Awards presented by Las Vegas that will air at 6:30 p.m. ET on Monday, September 21, on Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada as well as NBCSN in the U.S.

Co-hosted by Sportsnet’s Scott Oake and NBC Sports’ Kenny Albert from inside the site of the 2020 Stanley Cup Final, the program Edmonton’s Rogers Place will announce the five remaining winners of the 2019-20 season, including Hart Memorial Trophy, Calder Memorial Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award, Vezina Trophy, and James Norris Memorial Trophy.

Moreover, the show will have an Edmonton twist, with Oilers greats Grant Fuhr (Vezina), Wayne Gretzky (Calder/Hart), and Paul Coffey (Norris), and Mark Messier (Lindsay) presenting the five remaining awards winners.

All winners will be made available to media through Zoom and those details will be shared on Monday, Sep. 21.
